Vela Savid is a classically trained pianist, vocalist, and songwriter crafting cinematic pop rooted in emotional storytelling. With over 15 years of classical piano experience and a background in jazz, soul, and orchestral composition, Vela fuses elegance with edge—creating a sound as dynamic and expressive as the artist herself.

A graduate of Liberty University with a B.S. in Music Instrumental, and a 2025 alum of Dark Horse Institute’s elite Composition and Songwriting program, Vela has composed, performed, and collaborated across genres—from Disney-inspired ballads to contemporary chamber works. Her 2022 instrumental EP Untamed and singles like 金継ぎ (Kintsugi) and Minuet in A Major showcase her gift for crafting lush, evocative soundscapes that speak without words.

Under her real name, Alexandra Davis, she’s served as an elementary music teacher, ensemble performer, and piano contractor. On stage and in the studio, she’s collaborated with emerging artists on original works like Windswept, Tap Out, and When The Train Leaves The Station.
